Applications are invited for the IP Core & Transmission Engineer position based in Stellenbosch. This person will report to the IP Core and Transmission Team Lead.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The IP Core & Transmission Engineer will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimisation of our Core network infrastructure. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IP core and transmission network to ensure we meet the uptime requirements of the network.

Key Performance Areas: Responsible for the national IP Core network – Run the IP Core network with 99.99% uptime. Responsible for the national transmission network – Run Transmission network with 99.99% availability.
