Position Overview
Inventory clerk is responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking products, and ensuring that items are available when needed. They also maintain records, resolve issues, and prepare reports.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory: Track inventory levels, incoming and outgoing products, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory: Implement inventory management procedures, perform cycle counts, and order additional stock.
- Store inventory: Organize and store items in warehouses or retail outlets.
- Maintain records: Update databases with incoming and outgoing products, and handle receiving reports.
- Resolve issues: Address shortages, complaints, and customer requests.
- Prepare reports: Create reports on sales volumes and merchandising.
- Maintain safety: Use equipment and tools safely, and lead others in safe work practices.
