Job Purpose

The purpose of the job role is to grow the customer base and increase market share. The incumbent will also provide support to the External Sales Representative and convert inquiries into sales by answering inbound telephone calls, promoting and selling the company's world-class products with excellent customer service.

Duties:

1. Capture full and complete quotations in Syspro and follow up on all outstanding quotations.
2. Check material availability and advise the expected date of receipt.
3. Sales orders must be captured on Syspro upon receipt of the order.
4. Check stock availability and ensure the order is credit-released.
5. Send order to production planning.
6. All orders are to be buddy-checked and signed off.
7. Buddy check colleagues' orders within an hour of receipt.
8. Agree on delivery dates with the customer.
9. Arrange for customers to have people to off-load on-site.
