Medical Review organization in need of locums providers to work remotely for 2-3 months with the option to convert to a permanent-hire position, if desired. This is 100% remote , working from home.
Job duties include reviews of medical claims to deliver conflict-free decisions that help clinical and claims management professionals better allocate healthcare resources.
- Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Clean background required.
- Recent clinical practice experience required.
- Medical School must have been completed in the US unless within 10 years.
- Must work 8 hours/day, 5 days/week. May include 2-3 weekend shifts per month. (never to exceed 40 hrs./week)
- Requires Peer-to-peer phone calls with other physicians when a case can't be approved due to missing or confusing information
- Good computer skills needed. Top quality, high speed cable internet connection required.
- Current, unrestricted medical license.
