Isle of Wight Council is seeking a highly experienced Interim Strategic Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive to provide leadership for their finance function. This interim position is crucial as the Council recruits permanently, lasting initially 3-4 months, with daily rates between £672.57 and £900.00.

The successful candidate will ensure robust financial stewardship and governance, manage a budget exceeding £300m, and oversee internal audit and risk assurance processes. Candidates must be fully qualified CCAB accountants.
