**Description:**

The Manager has 24-hour accountability for the effective and efficient operation of a single or multiple related unit. The Manager spends 20% of the time in direct staff supervision and 80% of the time in administrative duties.

The Nurse Manager responsibilities include maintaining a high patient satisfaction, ensuring that clinical operations are effective, and overseeing hiring and retention of staff. The Manager will educate staff on organizational goals, patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory requirements. Participate and engage staff in LEAN activities and goals. Collaborate with staff and physicians on achieving throughput metrics.
