A reputable public-sector organisation in Leeds City Centre is seeking an interim Digital Category Manager to support with digital procurement activity for a period of circa 3-6 months. This is a hands-on operational role focused on deliveringpliant procurement activity across digital and IT categories.
Your new role
The Digital Category Manager will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end procurement activity, with a strong emphasis on direct awards and framework call‑offs. The role is tactical in nature and will suit someonefortable working at pace in a regulated public sector environment. Key responsibilities will include:
Deliver digital and IT procurement activity in line with public sector regulationsManage direct awards and framework call‑offs ( CCS and other relevant frameworks)Providemercial and procurement advice to internal stakeholdersEnsure value for money,pliance, and timely delivery of contracts
