**Summary**

**SUMMARY:** The Intensivist will provide critical care intensive support for all patients admitted, including providing daily triage rounds, providing Critical Care consultation, managing Code Blues, supervising invasive procedures in the ICU and elsewhere at Highland as needed, and optimizing the use of ICU beds. The Intensivist is responsible for the expert provision of safe, efficient, patient-centered, and cost-effective care within the Hospital. This position reports to the Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care.
