Position Overview
- The Integration Release Manager (IRM) role has historically required a hybrid skill set.
- While the role focuses on integration, release management, and SDLC coordination, it also requires a strong understanding of networks and infrastructure to plan, execute, and govern complex network cutovers during integrations.
The IRM is expected to:
- Lead and orchestrate end-to-end integration releases, including network cutovers
- Possess sufficient network/infrastructure knowledge to drive planning, execution, and risk mitigation
- Communicate effectively and manage a diverse set of technical and business stakeholders
- In the past, we have held direct walkthroughs with the hiring manager to ensure DXC had clear visibility into the role's scope and expectations.
