Description

POSITON SUMMARY:

The Intake Therapist provides a wide range of services including assessment, crisis interventions, making necessary referrals, and obtaining authorizations for services to children, youth, families, and adult clients of Starfish Family Services. Team members in this position function with a great deal of professional autonomy under the supervision of the Program Supervisor

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


+ Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human services field required.

+ Current valid professional license/certification in the State of Michigan. Full Licensure is required.

+ At least two (2) years previous related experience required.
