DUTIES

The successful applicant(s) will deliver theoretical and practical instruction and training in marine, offshore, and industrial emergency response courses as per the Offshore Safety and Survival Centre’s Integrated Management System and applicable governing standards and guidelines. Courses will be primarily delivered at the OSSC, Foxtrap Campus, Marine Base, Holyrood, and occasionally at various locations within Newfoundland & Labrador, and the Northwest Territories/Nunavut. As an instructor, you will be required to deliver classroom instruction followed by practical demonstrations in firefighting, marine survival, and rescue craft including fast rescue boats. This will include practical exercises including live fire evolutions, open water exercises in a Survival Tank or open water environment.
