Role PurposeCreate value through food science know-how in ingredients and additives, building optimization strategies in raw materials to increase margins, optimize usage, diversify sourcing, deal with contingencies, generate and share best practices across all OUs.Key ResponsibilitiesDeep understanding of ingredients/additives functionality and critical performance parameters across categories to optimize different usage in formulations and processes, in alignment with company strategic guidelines.Develop and implement methods that are effective and efficient for the evaluation of functional ingredients that is replicable in the business units, ensuring materials quality and functionality.Identify, define, develop, and coordinate with BUs projects related to GSO (Global Sourcing Organization) to reduce variable cost (i.E. local ingredient projects, global tenders).
