Overview:The Project Enginee is a closely managed, supporting role, that will direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of limited complexity engineering projects in the areas of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.
Functions:
Analyzes customer and internal project requirements and performs standard technical calculations using design, stress, and fatigue life tools.
Performs engineering design evaluations for durability analysis and feasibility and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
Provides technical support for the engineering launch process and contributes to the completion of a project including delivery of development samples.
Performs and supports engineering evaluation and root cause analysis on product failures from validation testing, quality actions and field warranty returns.
