Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a mid to senior level Industrial Hygiene Technician to support their asbestos, hazardous materials, and indoor air quality projects through field inspections, air monitoring, abatement oversight, and reporting. This role is primarily hands on and field based, working in commercial and industrial facilities. Responsibilities include conducting AHERA, NESHAP, OSHA, HUD, and EPA compliant building surveys, performing asbestos and lead based paint inspections, collecting air and bulk samples, and completing clearance monitoring. The technician will assist with mold and water damage assessments, indoor air quality investigations related to occupant complaints, and occupational exposure monitoring for chemical and physical hazards.
