Install, repair, and perform routine maintenance on industrial and electronic equipment in a hard alloy aluminum extrusion manufacturing facility (including extrusion presses, billet furnaces, die/tooling furnaces, heat treat furnaces, stretchers, saws, roll machines, age/anneal furnaces, lab & etch equipment, and pack-related equipment).
Develop and maintain PLC programs for our automated control systems.
Work with applicable personnel and teams to improve processes.
Determine & mitigate risk where appropriate.
A safety mindset is critical- all work must be performed in a safe manner following established safety policies and procedures. Must be familiar with lock out / tag out / try out.
Must be able to read electrical schematics.
Must be strong in 480 vs 120 v and low voltage control systems.
