Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one assistance to students with unique learning needs in a mainstream classroom setting.Ensure that the assigned student accesses the curriculum and engages with peers.Adapt lesson materials and develop strategies to manage challenging behaviours.Monitor students’ progress, performance, and physical health.Build strong relationships with the student and equip them with skills for effective communication, self-regulation, and meta-cognition.Work together with mainstream teachers to share insights, adapt lesson plans, and ensure the student’s success.Support classroom management and administrative tasks when required.Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates, gather insights, and ensure a holistic approach to learning.Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for the student.Demonstrate patience, empathy, flexibility, and adaptabi...
