Responsible for facilitating the global indirect buying programs and related procurement opportunities. Works with the various internal business and external partners to streamline how WFM sources products and services, focusing on partnership, transparency, integrity, and ease of procurement. Key job responsibilities
•Independently designs spending and usage analysis from a variety of sources, including supplier submissions.
• Develops and communicates cross-category cost performance and project status for leadership, including off-program purchases.
• Facilitates contract negotiations with suppliers, service providers, and distributor partners.
• Hold review meetings with major suppliers to review service levels, growth trajectory, category movement, and opportunities for additional savings.
