- Provide medical care to prisoners, flight crew, and support personnel during JPATS missions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies such as seizures, chest pain, trauma, or behavioral health events.
- Administer medications, procedures, and treatments per written or verbal medical orders.
- Maintain custody and accountability of all medical records, equipment, and medications.
- Screen prisoner medical records to ensure stability and fitness for flight.
- Document all medical interactions and incidents accurately and submit reports (USM Form 210, BEMR, BP-A0659).
- Coordinate medical activities with Aviation Enforcement Officers (AEOs), JPATS Medical Director, and other federal personnel.
