Imaging Assistant (Technician)

Here at New Victoria Hospital, we are looking for one full-time Imaging Assistant (Technician) for 37.5 hours per week and one part-time Imaging Assistant (Technician) for 27 hours per week to join our friendly and supportive Imaging team!

This role involves:

• Supporting Radiologists, Radiographers and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a smooth patient journey and high-quality imaging service.
• Assisting in the day-to-day running of the Imaging Department, contributing to a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for patients.
• Preparing patients for imaging examinations, including safety screening, supporting with dressing/undressing where required, and explaining procedures in a clear and reassuring manner.
• Assisting Radiographers and Radiologists during procedures such as biopsies, musculoskeletal lists and interventional imaging.
