**Job Description**
The selected candidate will support Combat Integration and Identification Systems Division (IDS) efforts in Norfolk / Newport News, performing a wide variety of electronics-based tasking in support of the U.S. Navy s Fleet Modernization Program and/or Ships New Construction on board DDGs and CVNs for the AN/UPX-29(V) Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) system.

Sample Tasking:

1. Troubleshooting malfunctions using applicable drawings, knowledge of electronics theory, and test equipment such as multi-meters, cable testers, oscilloscopes, and synchro testers.
2. Performing IFF system assessments such as ALOA s, CSSQT s, and MCA s.
3. Supporting IFF Mode S system upgrades on board Navy ships.
4. Answering a call for an On Board Technical Assistance (OBTA).
5. Communicating with ship s force, government customers, and BAE Systems project leads in a professional manner.
