We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join a team in New Castle, Delaware. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth in a dynamic HR environment. The role involves supporting key HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Responsibilities:
• Complete and manage the processing of I-9 forms and employee documentation.
• Organize and maintain filing systems for HR records and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the HR Director to ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding processes, including background checks and new employee paperwork.
• Support employee relations initiatives by addressing routine inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
• Utilize HRIS software to update employee information and generate reports.
