Position Overview
**JOB SUMMARY**
Performs day-to-day operational tasks for the local human resources department under the immediate supervision of an HR Manager. The Specialist carries out human resources tasks in some or all of the following functional areas: HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, general HR administration and recruitment and selection.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provides support to the local HR Manager to ensure all employees are provided with key information on HR processes and procedures. Answers questions about those processes and procedures.
+ Assists in the implementation of HR processes, policies and programs.
+ Supports the processing of employee data by assisting in keeping the Human Resources Information System up-to-date.
