Position Overview
**Job Description**
The HR Intern is mainly responsible for the administrative functions within the department. This individual works with the HR Manager to ensure the unit is in compliance with all federal and state regulations as well as the established ARAMARK policies.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Maintain personnel, medical, and confidential files for active and terminated employees. Audit for compliance.
+ File I-9 forms and audit for compliance
+ Knowledge of the hourly employee onboarding process, and ability to execute the process as needed with new hires/ rehires.
+ Make copies of documents for file records
+ Assist in preparation and disbursement of employee communications
+ Assist in preparation for HR events and work the events as necessary (job fairs, orientations, wellness fair, employee recognition events, etc.)
