Human Resources Generalist
Under the direction of the Area Director or Human Resources Manager, this role provides critical support to our local branch by ensuring smooth operations across a range of HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment and selection of various employees.
- Participate in orientation session arrangements and delivery.
- Process Workers Compensation claims, including documentation, filing reports, and follow‑up activities related to modified work programs.
- Lead or participate in the local Health and Safety Program.
- Assist managers with progressive discipline and counseling of employees in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain current and past employee human resources files, ensuring all required documentation is present.
- Stay current on provincial legislation relating to Employment Standards, Human Rights, Workplace Health and Safety, and Labor laws.
