Position Overview
Description We are looking for an HR Generalist to support essential people operations for a manufacturing environment in Michigan. This Contract position will play a central role in payroll accuracy, leave coordination, employee record management, and day-to-day HR support. The ideal candidate brings a strong service mindset, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to keep multiple HR processes moving smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee payroll activities by reviewing entries, checking for discrepancies, and helping ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Administer employee leave programs by answering questions, guiding documentation needs, and helping team members understand policy and eligibility requirements.
