Position Overview
Position Summary: The HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department at Mastery. They will support onboarding of new hires, benefits enrollment, and maintaining accurate employee records, in addition to other responsibilities as noted below. They must be exceptionally organized, as well as customer friendly. Duties and Responsibilities: Support the on-boarding process for new hires including updating new hire documents, distributing paperwork to new hires, data entry of new hires, and compliance verification. Assist the benefits enrollment process for all staff to ensure accurate and timely enrollments. Assist in efforts to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal labor and human relations laws. Maintain new and existing employee personnel files including legal documentation, such as clearances, and certifications. Support tracking of teacher certification and highly qualified (HQT) status to ensure Mastery is in compliance with Charter School law. ...
