Position Overview
Summary The position is located within the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Ventura, California. The primary purpose of the Housing Management Assistant is to link Veterans in the HUD VASH program to permanent housing. The Housing Management Assistant will establish and maintain relationships with landlords, private agencies, non-profit agencies, and governmental agencies who serve the homeless, as well as VA staff who work with Veterans in need of transitional or permanent housing. Responsibilities Assist Veterans with the housing search and lease up process by acting as a liaison between all parties, including but not limited to the VA, PHA, landlord, and Veteran, to address housing needs.
