Position Overview
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and making beds.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize: Dust surfaces, vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Make beds: Change and replace bed linens and towels in guest rooms.
- Restock supplies: Replenish guest amenities like toiletries, drinking glasses, and coffee supplies. Restock the housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and fresh linens.
- Maintain cleanliness: Remove trash, recycling, and room service trays from guest rooms.
- Report issues: Notify the supervisor or maintenance department of any damage, broken items, or maintenance needs, such as a burnt-out lightbulb or a leaky faucet.
