Overview
The House Supervisor provides direct nursing and administrative support for all clinical units to ensure continuity of patient care. In partnership with clinical leadership, providers and unit staff, the House Supervisor assures that the standards of nursing practice and the standards of performance are achieved. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development over the life span and demonstrates skill in application of this knowledge to the nursing care process.
Responsibilities
* Promotes and maintains the mission, vision, values, philosophy and strategic goals of the organization
* Collaborates with providers, nurses and other members of the health care team to ensure effective delivery of patient care services with a focus on critical clinical events
* Continuously evaluates the needs of clinical care areas and assists nursing staff to meet patient care needs during acute volume fluctuations
