YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your equipment operation skills? Are you passionate about safety? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to move vehicles, trailers and flatbeds to and from dock and yard area to assist with loading, unloading and yard utilization in a safe and efficient manner.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. Manage loading and unloading freight by hand or by using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or forklift. Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received, knowing when to refuse or accept with notation. Record receipts to appropriate forms and/or log books. Verify that proper documentation is attached. Sort cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location. Accurately label freight to destination.
