Midshift APP Admitter - La Plata, Maryland

We have an opportunity for an experienced APP to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at University of Maryland at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. This is a full-time position.

Position Details

• Flexible block schedule
• Shift time: typically 12p 10p
• Average Patients per shift: 6-8
• EMR: EPIC
• ICU: Managed by the Intensivist
• Procedures/Vents: None
• Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with an active Maryland license, BLS, ACLS, DEA and CDS License.

Job Description

Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge.
