Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate duties as required
• Create work schedules for the team
• Cheerfully greet customers as they enter the store or approach your station
• Process payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit
• Help customers find or choose items in the store
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets
• Calculate total payments received at end of work shift and reconcile with total sales
• Accept and process delivery orders
• Stock shelves and clean check‑out counter area
• Sweep floors, dust shelves and perform other general cleaning duties
