The HIM Technician is responsible for supporting the health information management processes within the Albany Med Health System (AMHS). This entry-level position focuses on the retrieval, preparation, scanning and indexing of clinical documentation for AMHS' inpatient and outpatient facilities. The HIM Technician ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards while maintaining the Integrity and confidentiality of patient information.
