The HGV Technician Role

Service, repair, and maintain vehicles to DVSA/manufacturer standards
Diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Prep vehicles for MOT and complete all service documentation
Respond to breakdowns and support off‑site recovery
Mentor apprentices and promote safe working practices
Carry out preventative maintenance and keep accurate records
