Flexible Work, Better Balance
Cat C is the licence you need to drive large goods vehicles. Popular uses for Cat C vehicles are larger horseboxes, recovery vehicles, builders merchants, town and city delivery vehicles and for delivering aggregate. Cat C training teaches you to drive these vehicles, and prepares you to pass the DVSA Cat C driving test.
Once you pass the Cat C test, the DVSA will update your licence and send you a new one. Your new licence will display your new qualification and allow you to drive these larger vehicles.
If you will be using your new qualification to drive professionally you will need a Driver CPC qualification, this will be arranged for you to coincide with your Cat C training course. You will usually not need a Driver CPC to drive for leisure, for example, driving a motorhome or horsebox.
Course durations vary depending on your experience and confidence. ...
