Hematology/Oncology Physician Locum Need
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Call: Night and weekend call required
Weekend Call: 24-hour call; includes 4 gratis onsite hours/day OT after that
Coverage: 2 3 weeks/month (3 preferred)
Start Date: June 16, 2025
Contract Length: Minimum 6 months
Practice Setting:
* Cancer Center (Clinic) within Acute Care Hospital
* Related Hospital Beds: 318
* Clinic Exam Rooms: 10
* Infusion Center: 18 bays + private rooms
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics (18+)
Average Volumes:
* new consults/week
* infusion patients/day (approx. 50% chemotherapy)
Support Structure:
* Nurses
* Nurse Practitioner
* Therapists
* Hospitalist program
* Imaging center adjacent
* Support groups
* Developing triage nurse center
Requirements:
* Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
* BLS and DEA required
* ND License preferred (will license; IMLC accepted)
