Job Description
The Staff Physician provides direct patient care and emergency services in an effort to ensure that patient health care needs are met at all times.
Responsibilities
TECHNICAL TASKS Demonstrates a commitment to the philosophy and values of the organization to ensure that the highest quality of medical care is delivered at all times; accurately assesses health status of patients coming to or telephoning the practice for assistance and/or information Is responsible for medical supervision and direction of all care rendered, and for development of treatment protocols, as and if necessary, for all patients seen in the practice; Assists in the meeting of all accreditation and legal requirements and regulations of the hospital (JCAHO, City, State & Federal); Works closely & collaboratively with the Physician Practice Management Director as well as other management and clinical staff to assure smooth and successful operation o...
