**Job Description**

This role supports large-scale power line construction by preparing and maintaining safe access paths for heavy equipment in wetland and woodland environments. You will work outdoors on multi-mile projects, installing and moving crane mats, assisting equipment operators, and restoring the job site as work progresses. The position requires consistent travel to various work sites, physical stamina, and a strong focus on safety and communication.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set, position, and move large crane mats (approximately 15 feet long and 8 feet wide) to support skid steers, drilling equipment, and other heavy machinery.
+ Work along a 5-mile power line construction corridor, installing mats at multiple locations, then returning to remove and reset them as the project advances.
