INTERNAL VACANCY – HEAT TREATMENT OPERATOR

The company is looking for competent and motivated employees to work in the Machine Shop.

The Heat Treatment Operator reports to the Machine Shop Supervisor.

Key Performance Areas

• Continuous adherence to the OH&S Act and Regulations and the relevant ISO Standards / SANS codes.
• Stacking heights must be followed according to the work instructions.
• Set up solution and precipitation treatment process operating parameters and maintain the process.
• Load off load wheels into heat treatment or ageing facility.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area.
• Meeting production targets.
• Identify problems on castings and stamp wheels.
• To drive forklift when loading and off-loading wheels.
• Pack wheels onto wooden pallets when suitable baskets are not available and during breakdowns.
