Flexible Work, Better Balance
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
The NHS offers a newborn hearing screening service to every baby born. As a Hearing Screener at Princess Royal Maternity in Glasgow, you will carry out hearing screening tests and may be required to travel to other locations on occasion. Full training will be provided. No formal qualifications are required, but you must have experience handling newborns, be comfortable working face‑to‑face with patients in a healthcare setting, possess good computer skills and be flexible with working hours.
