Summary The clinic Health Technician is responsible for the clinical and clerical functions of patient care in order to promote timely and efficient patient care. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Perform a range of direct care duties that include but not limited to performing temperature, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation measurements, measuring height and weight, patient transfers, glucose testing, collecting specimens and phlebotomy. Prepares and advises patients for collection of timed blood, urine, and stool samples. Process requests following established Laboratory procedures and protocols. Receives and processes telephone call for the team. Files all medical record information and correspondence in patients file. Maintains confidentially of electronic, written, and/or verbal patient information Completes clinical reminders. Maintains all facets of the medical record.
