Summary This position is located at Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), within the Office of the Deputy Medical Center Director. The incumbent serves as the Assistant Medical Center Director for the VA Medical Center (VAMC) and exercises line authority for multiple administrative, allied health services, and sections. This position reports directly to the Deputy Executive Director of the VAMC in the Senior Executive Service (SES). Responsibilities As Health System Assistant Director, the incumbent is directly responsible for the direction and management of the Medical Center. Incumbent has direct line authority for multiple administrative and allied health services and other duties include but not limited to: Participates on a day-to-day basis in top level Executive discussions, decisions, policy making and actions of all administrative functions and indirectly of all clinical matters impacting patient care.
