**Responsibilities**
+ Manages/develops programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards through:
+ Safety-training of all employees
+ Planned inspections
+ Skill training
+ First-aid care
+ Emergency preparedness
+ New employee and contractor indoctrination
+ Physical protection
+ Planned job observation
+ Rules and practices
+ Job analysis/procedures
+ Protective equipment
+ Consistently active within the field providing regular support and guidance to salary and hourly employees to maintain a safe work environment that is consistent with the companyβs policies and state/federal regulations
+ Continually engages salary and hourly employees to ensure the desired safety behaviours are being demonstrated at all levels of the organization
