Responsibilities :

+ Provide training and support to all departments of the MPA: Internal Medicine, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, School-Based Healthcare, and affiliates.

+ Responsible for the strategic direction of the HIM department in alignment with the MPA's mission and vision.

+ Stay aware of national trends and software capabilities.

+ May require attendance at annual conferences or conventions.

+ Helping to establish expectations, monitoring milestones, and completing training.

+ Provide input and oversight for electronic archiving, storage, and retrieval , including patient account information and patient medical records storage and retrieval systems.
