Position Summary With limited direction or supervision, this machine set-up/operator position requires the set-up and/or operation of header equipment. The incumbent will possess and demonstrate the skills necessary to maintain production requirements and quality standards. Continuous Improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position. . Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
+ Operating understanding of cold heading machines.
+ Set up and operate Formax 34's, 44's, 54's.
+ Remove and Install Punch & Die Packs, Transfer, and Dies as needed
(Rough In Changeover).
+ Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment as required.
+ Read and understand prints.
+ Perform first piece inspection, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
