Head of Delivery – Quality

Location: RG7 4PR (Reading / Basingstoke). Hybrid working access – 3 days onsite per week.

Salary: £105,000 – £115,000 (dependent on suitability, qualifications, experience). Working pattern: AWE operates a 9‑day working fortnight. Flexible working requests are considered.

Reports to: Director of Quality.

Job Summary

Lead AWE’s Core Quality function, set strategic direction and ensure a robust, compliant Quality Management System (QMS). Manage a team of 23 Quality Professionals across Learning from Experience and Audit & Risk disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong quality culture across the business, acting as a role model and coach.
• Maintain and improve compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, ensuring certifications are sustained.
