The role enforces policies and controls aligned with BNM and PDPA 2010/2024. The CDAO embeds privacy‑by‑design, security‑by‑design, and model risk practices, governance working group, and partners with DPO, CISO, TISO, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technology. This role builds enterprise capability through Centres of Excellence and data‑scientist programmes, ensuring resilience, regulatory compliance, and measurable business outcomes.
