What the role is:

The jobholder will be a member of xCybersecurity, providing security-by-design leadership to all departments in the Home Team and HTX. xCybersecurity promotes the adoption of defence‑in‑depth and security best practices and helps enable the transformation of Home Team’s cybersecurity capabilities. Through our work, we enhance the resilience of Home Team information‑communication systems and networks against sophisticated threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The role requires an experienced leader to spearhead the organization’s cybersecurity and AI security research initiatives. The jobholder will be responsible for developing and implementing R&D plans in alignment with HTX’s cybersecurity strategy, directing research into emerging threats, and fostering collaboration with industry and academic partners to strengthen resilience against evolving cyber risks.
