Position Overview
1. Management Function - Oversee the development of the overall framework for casework and counselling of residents in the Hostel
- Oversee budgeting and expenditure according to objectives and goals of the department
- Develop sustainable structure and pathways for staff development and progression (together with Division Head and Corporate Services)
- Oversee staff relationship with residents, stakeholders and other professionals in the sector
- Ensure staff understanding and aligned practice with the overall philosophy
- Provide supervision and guidance for staff
- Coach, mentor and develop staff competency, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Ensure staff work in compliance with company policies and standards.
- Oversee Human Resource aspects of the staff within the department
- Function roles of the Deputy Head, if appointed.
