Position summary: The Head Athletic Trainer provides leadership, clinical oversight, and administrative management of the College's athletic training and sports medicine program, supporting student-athlete health, safety, regulatory compliance, and athletic performance. This position directs all aspects of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services while ensuring compliance with National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA), Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC), and institutional policies. The Head Athletic Trainer supervises athletic training personnel and student athletic trainers, coordinates healthcare services for student-athletes, and manages athletic training operations.
